Cookie Policy
Effective date: August 23, 2026 · Version 1.0
This Cookie Policy explains how Correlia Inc. (“Correlia”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on correlia.ai and its subdomains, including the Correlia platform (together, the “Sites”). Read it with our Privacy Policy (correlia.ai/legal/privacy) and, if you are a candidate, the Candidate Privacy Notice (correlia.ai/legal/candidate-privacy-notice).
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. Some are set by us (“first-party cookies”); others by service providers acting for us (“third-party cookies”). Session cookies expire when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain for a set period. Similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, are treated as cookies in this Policy.
2. Categories of cookies we use
2.1 Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the Sites to work and cannot be switched off. They keep you signed in, maintain your session, protect forms against cross-site request forgery, balance traffic across our servers and remember your cookie choices. Because they are essential to provide the service you have requested, they do not require consent.
2.2 Functional
These cookies remember your preferences, such as language, time zone and display settings, so that you do not need to set them again.
2.3 Analytics
These cookies help us understand how visitors use the Sites and where errors occur, so that we can improve them. We do not currently set any analytics cookies. In the EU, EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland, and in other jurisdictions that require consent, analytics cookies are set only if you accept them in our cookie banner.
2.4 Advertising and conversion measurement
These cookies measure whether our marketing campaigns lead to visits and sign-ups. We do not currently set any advertising cookies. In the EU, EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland and other consent jurisdictions, advertising cookies are set only with your consent. They are never used on candidate interview pages.
3. Cookies we use
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| access_token, refresh_token (first-party, local storage) | Correlia | Keep you signed in to the platform and maintain your session (strictly necessary) | Until you sign out |
| locale, correlia-theme (first-party, local storage) | Correlia | Language and display preferences (functional) | Until deleted |
| correlia.interview.micId, correlia.interview.speakerId, correlia.interview.cameraId (first-party, local storage) | Correlia | Remember the camera, microphone and speaker you chose during the device check (strictly necessary) | Until deleted |
| correlia:candidate-rail-collapsed:v1 (first-party, local storage) | Correlia | Interface layout preferences (functional) | Until deleted |
Durations are maximums; your browser may delete cookies sooner.
4. Candidate interview pages
The pages on which candidates prepare for and take an interview with Corra use only strictly necessary cookies. No analytics or advertising technologies are used there. During an interview, the platform collects in-session technical signals, such as browser window focus and visibility events, copy and paste events, answer timing, video presence events, device and browser type and IP address, to run the interview and produce the integrity report. Those signals are part of the interview service, are described in the Candidate Privacy Notice and the AI Transparency Statement (correlia.ai/legal/ai-transparency), and are not used for advertising or to track you across other websites.
5. How to manage cookies
Cookie banner. If you visit from the EU, EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland or another jurisdiction that requires consent, our cookie banner lets you accept or reject analytics and advertising cookies before they are set. You can change your choices at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of the Sites.
Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in or using parts of the Sites.
Global Privacy Control. We honour Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser. Where we detect one, we treat it as an opt-out from the sale or sharing of personal information and from targeted advertising under applicable US state privacy laws, and as a refusal of analytics and advertising cookies. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Google opt-outs. You can prevent Google Analytics from using your data with the opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout and manage personalised advertising at https://adssettings.google.com. Google explains its use of data from partner sites at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
6. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in the law. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date and, where the changes are material, tell you through the Sites or by email.
